Richard "Dick" A. Myers

Richard Allen Myers was born to Doyle and Louise Myers at Beloit, Kansas on May 25, 1948. He departed this life of 70 years Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at the Salina Regional Hospital in Salina, Kansas.

"Dick" as he was truly known and loved by all, grew up in Beloit. After a time in the Army, he returned to Beloit and worked with his father in the construction business. He graduated from Beloit High School.

It was on September 25, 1971, that he married Lanna L. Lawson at Stockton, Kansas. They added two children, Jason Myers and Jennifer Spicher to this happy union. Dick and Lanna retired and remained in Beloit.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Doyle Myers and Louise Fulton Myers; two brothers, James "Jim" Myers and William "Bill" Myers; and his grandparents, Frank and Katherine Fulton and Henry and Nellie Myers.

Left to mourn his death and celebrate his life are his wife Lanna Myers, Beloit; children, Jason (Micah) Myers, Manhattan, KS, and Jennifer (Corey) Spicher; grandchildren, Preston, Tanner, Brady, Raeya, Tavin Myers, Karizma, Kaztyr, Krizpen, Kazen, Kashizz, Korazana, and Killian Spicher; his sister, Linda Michaels; sisters-in-law, Kim (Chris) Jones, Janice Myers, and Carol Myers; and other relatives and friends.

Cremation was chosen and there will be no services or visitation. A private family celebration of life is planned at a later date. Memorials may be given to the Family Expense Fund.
