Robert "Bob" E. Thompson

Robert Eugene Thompson was born on June 19, 1944 in Beloit, Kansas, the son of Glen and Iris Maley Thompson. He died on December 2, 2014 at the Mitchell County Hospital in Beloit at the age of 70 years, 5 months, and 13 days.
Bob, as he was known to many, grew up & spent most of his life in Beloit. He was very close to his family and friends, and was always there for them. He was a great brother, friend, uncle, and cousin.
He was an exceptional concrete worker with Blass Construction for many years. He worked hard and also greatly enjoyed life to its fullest. He also loved to go fishing, hunting, and playing pool.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents.
He will be greatly remembered by his siblings, Archie of Randall, Allen of Beloit, Carl and Terry, both of McPherson, Traci of Missouri, and Vola of Montana; as well as a number of other family members and great friends.

Memorial services will be at 10 AM Wednesday, December 10 at the McDonald Funeral Home. Cremation was chosen & there will be no visitation. Memorials may be given to the Funeral Expense Fund in care of the McDonald Funeral Home.
