Robert Lee Wilson, 76, died at his home in Marquette, Kansas on March 28, 2019. He was born on August 17, 1942 in Concordia, Kansas to Leo and Lila Wilson of Glasco, Kansas.
He graduated from Glasco High School with the class of 1961, and attended Hutchinson Junior College in Hutchinson, Kansas, and received a barbering degree from the Kansas School of Barbering in Wichita, Kansas.
Robert married Gloria Dianne Wiegert on August 25 th , 1963 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Lincoln, Kansas, a loving union which lasted over 55 years. They were blessed with four children: Christine, Barbara, Timothy, and Rebecca.
His hometown was Glasco, Kansas. He was a very well-known barber. He had his own barber shops in both Glasco and Beloit, Kansas. He enjoyed traveling, his family and friends, running his barber shop, playing board games with his family, and was very proud of his Lutheran heritage. He was a member and president of the church council for many years. He lived in Marquette, Kansas the last year of his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents Leo and Lila Wilson and grandson Zebulun O'Loughlin.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria of the home; daughters: Christine O'Loughlin (Greg) of Hugoton, Ks, Barbara O'Loughlin (fiancé Paul Gerlach) of Marquette, Ks, Rebecca Pflughoeft (Jordan) of McPherson, Ks, and son Timothy Wilson (Susie) of Beloit, Ks. Brothers: Charles Wilson (Marilyn) of Glasco, Ks, Leon Wilson (Karen) of Concordia, Ks, and Sisters: Ellen Paulsen of Lawrence, Ks, and Ann Beeton (Ray) of Cleveland, Mo.
Grandchildren: Courtney Reza (Saul) of Rolla, Ks, Nicholas O'Loughlin of Hugoton, Ks, Benjamin O'Loughlin (Jessica) of Aurora, Co, Maddison O'Loughlin (fiancé Hunter Venables) of Lawrence, Ks, Audrey and Owen Pflughoeft of McPherson, Ks, five great grandchildren: Vanessa Reza of Lawrence, Ks, Andrea, Elena, Olivia, and Saul Xavier Reza of Rolla, Ks.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM Saturday, March 30 at the Zion Lutheran Church followed by burial in Glasco Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM Friday at the Roberts Family Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to the Church or Kindred Hospice of McPherson.
