Sarah Smith

Sarah L. Smith, 65, passed away April 15th, 2025, at home in Beloit. Sarah was born November 30th, 1959, in Plainville Kansas.

Sarah was the oldest child of Sharon M. Smith. She grew up in Garden City and Downs Kansas before calling Beloit her home in 1983. She loved watching NASCAR, Kansas City Royals and Kansas University Jayhawks. LOVED her Jayhawks!! She could tell you your birthday, anniversary.  She held a special place in her heart for her dogs, Molly and Misty.

Sarah went to work for Icon Industries in 2007 before it was Landoll. She truly loved her work family.

She is survived by her siblings Frank Smith (Michelle), Becky Koster (Rick), Cheryl Marzolf (Mark), Frances Milholland (Tony) and Mae Smith. Aunts Brenda Slater, Bonnie Boxum, Uncle David and Aunt Linda Slater, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and multitude of friends.

Sarah is preceded in death by her mother Sharon M. Smith, grandparents Lillian and Urban Slater, Eddie and Alice Smith, Uncle Mike Slater and nephew Tyler R. Milholland.

Graveside memorial services will be at 11 AM Saturday, April 26 at the Elmwood Cemetery in Beloit. Friends may sign the register book from 9 AM to 5 PM Friday, April 25 at the Roberts Family Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place. Memorials may be given to the Funeral Expense Fund.
