Sheldon Rolph Annis, 79, died October 14, 2016 at the Golden Living Center in Downs, Kansas.
Sheldon was born October 30, 1936 in Delphos, Kansas to Elbert Wayne Annis and Ruth Hazel Rolph Annis. He married Joan Marlene Pounds on November 9, 1957 in Glasco, Kansas.
He was the father of Gregory Donald Pounds (Janette), Donna Joan Pounds, Frances Marlene Pounds (Gilbert Meyeres), Shelley Raye Annis (Jerry Harris), Michel Rene Annis (William Becker), and Kelsey Cameron Johnson;
He is survived by his children; grandchildren Charletta Camp, Tracy Camp, Dezirae Deist, Dustin Chrislip, Justin Chrislip, Nathan Becker, Kendra Becker, Tana Becker, Kristen Pounds, Kimberly Pounds, Kody Pounds; and 24 great grandchildren; two brothers, Stanley Annis and Arden Annis; plus other family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bradley Dell Annis; daughter, Donna Joan Pounds; grandchildren Kerri, Kaleb, & Kyle Pounds; and former wife, Joan Annis.
Memorial services will be at 11 AM Saturday, October 22 at the Glasco United Methodist Church. Per his wishes, cremation was chosen & there will be no visitation. Memorials may be given to Glasco United Methodist Church, Solomon Valley Hospice, or the Golden Living Center.
