Todd Darnall

Todd Michael Darnall was born on March 12, 1960 in Concordia, Kansas, the son of Clark Dean and Marilyn Jean Fox Darnall. He died with his children and family by his side on Monday, February 17, 2020 in Glasco, Kansas at the age of 59.

Todd graduated from Glasco High School and was known for his wood working skills that he made a living on, becoming a Master Carpenter. Many locals will attest to his ability to make any piece of wood he touched beautiful.

He was a collector of many old things and there was no antique too dusty for his taste.  He was an avid hunter and enjoyed sleeping under the stars whenever possible. After a hard day's work, there wasn't much he loved more than having a beer while listening to records of Led Zepplin or his all-time favorite, Willie Nelson. Todd appreciated the little things in life and anyone who was around him was guaranteed at least a good laugh.

Above all else, Todd loved his children and family more than life itself.  He loved when a plan came together and his plan wasn't to live forever, it was to create something that would. We truly believe he succeeded.

Todd was preceded in death by his father, Clark.  He is survived by his children, Daniel (Jillian) Darnall of Glasco, Eric (Lisa) Darnall of Glasco, Kelsey Darnall of Azle, TX, Chelsi Darnall of Salina, and Laura Darnall of Salina; his mother, Jean Darnall of Glasco; brothers, Scott Darnall of Glasco, and Mark (Regina) Darnall of Hays; 9 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM Friday, February 21 at the Glasco VFW Hall. Visitation will be from 6-7:30 PM Thursday at the VFW Hall. Memorials may be given to Solomon Valley Hospice or the Glasco City Fire Department.
