William Tobald

William "Bill" Robert Tobald was born on December 2, 1949, at Mitchell County Hospital in Beloit, Kansas, to Robert Carl and Marjorie Ruth (Henning) Tobald. He passed away at his home in Glasco, Kansas, on Monday, September 9, 2024, at the age of 74.

Bill attended Highland R-3 Country School and graduated from Glasco High School in 1967. He went on to attend Kansas State University, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Agronomy in 1971.

He greatly loved farming and anything agricultural related. He was extremely proud to be a two-time winner of the Cloud County Soil Conservation Award, most recently in 2017. Outside of farming, Bill enjoyed cooking and family gatherings. He enjoyed phone conversations with family. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Glasco.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Marjorie Tobald.

Bill is survived by his children, Anthony (Jennifer) Tobald of Glasco, Kurtis (Angela) Tobald of Hays, Phillip (Elsie) Tobald of Glasco, and Kristiana Tobald of Kansas City, Missouri; grandchildren: Aarron 'AJ', MaKenna, MaKenzie, MaKenlee, Asher, Darrius 'DJ', Abigail, Brooklyn, and Canaan; and great-granddaughter, Gracelynn. He also leaves behind his brothers, James (CJ) Tobald and John (Lynda) Tobald, both of Glasco, along with a large circle of extended family and friends.

Bill's life will be celebrated by all who knew and loved him.

Private family services will be taking place. Cremation has taken place. Memorials may be given to the Family Expense Fund.
