Wymond Eugene Rehmert was born on May 3, 1926 to Wymond and Merle Hewitt Rehmert at Asherville, Kansas. He died February 8, 2012 at Mitchell Co. Hospital, Beloit.
Gene, as he was called, attended schools in Mitchell County and Jewell County.
Most of his life he farmed near Montrose, Kansas.
Later years he retired, moving to Beloit, KS.
He is survived by several cousins.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, 10 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery, Beloit. Visitation will be from 1-8 PM Monday at the McDonald Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to United Methodist Church, Beloit
